I am glad to hear you are recovering and that your sense of taste and appetite is returning.

The eggplant looks delicious.

Nice looking eggplant. You must be indestructible.  Listening to the news, you would think no one survives.

Take it easy and don't get overheated. My niece in law works in a covid unit and says the lung scarring is something else.

Congrats on your recovery!  Nothing better than fresh fried eggplant.

My brother had it also, and he said the no taste thing was the worst part!  He had hardly any respiratory distress.  Funny how this thing seems to be different for everybody.

Did he take a lot of zinc to treat? I had clients who lost taste one year from taking excessive zinc during the flu season. Am retired  and have no idea if their taste ever came back.

No, he took  the malaria drug that the CDC says does not work 🙄

The taste thing comes with the virus, it isn't a side effect of meds.

The hydrocholroquine covid/malaria treatment is used in combination with zinc!!! That is the standard combo for that treatment.   I really think possibly the zinc is the cause of the taste problems with this treatment.  Could be wrong but have read taste lost with too much zinc for years now even before covid.

My best friend lost her hair.  That's also a Covid side affect.

Fred, so glad, you beat that dreaded disease!!!

I read one of the covid treatments is also used in chemo....could that be the hair loss?
