It's good for you. You can always change you mind later.

Or you could me like me and have a hard time thinning or killing a plant. I have three why would I want to kill two perfectly good plants?

That's my biggest fear, I hate thinning or killing a plant. There's always that thought in the back of my mind, "What if the one I kept dies".

Still a bit early here in upstate New York. Going through our really first cold snap this week. I have all my seeds and starting supplies. Just looking for some sweet orange pepper seeds now. Good luck all.
